This is easy. Both programs should be done for the season. The Miami Hurricanes and Florida International didn’t disgrace college football on Saturday night. They disgraced themselves and their universities. No one else should take the hit for the madness that happened at Miami.
The schools and the conferences have announced the suspension of 31 players for a game. That’s ridiculous. Miami’s next game is against Duke, whom they could beat with their cheerleaders.
Miami has done this before. FIU may have been the match this time but the ‘Canes are always burning for a fight. Send ’em home for the rest of the year and do not allow them to return until every player and coach signs an agreement stating that they’ll resign their job or scholarship if such an incident happens again.
