ProFootballTalk.com says LSU quarterback JaMarcus Russell has signed with agent Eric Metz and will enter the 2007 draft. Does this make the Raiders job suddenly more attractive?

  1. Juan says:

Nope. Still not an attractive job. Al is the shot caller there and he might pull the equivalent of drafting Robert Gallery there again.

  2. […] JaMarcus Russell has gone for the draft. […]

  3. As much as it pains me, I have to agree. Here’s an idea. Hire John Madden as GM. Let him then control football operations. Then, let Al hire someone young and offensive minded. I honestly don’t have a problem with Al’s coaching judgement, when he finds a young unproven talent. Even at this age, he can identify young coaching talent. It’s when he goes for a retread that I’m worried. But if he did all of this, Madden could reign Al in and make good football decisions versus Al decisions.

Yes! Thank you, JaMarcus! Now just ride the momentum all the way up to the top choice overall, and keep Brady the hell away from California and the pit of suck that resides there!

jaMarcus Russell is just what the Raiders need!
He has a big arm and now we can finaaly have someone who can reach randy moss going deep!
Keep Brady out of Cali, he sucks!
